Syslog, SNMP Trap Receiver, Elasticsearch (Logging Server)
On the jump-desktop you will find a start menu item for Elasticsearch.
The support-server is running ELKStack.
Syslog messages sent via UDP or TCP to the support-server (10.35.22.20) will be visible in elasticsearch.
SNMP traps sent to the support-server (10.35.22.20) will be converted to Syslog messages and then visible in elasticsearch.
NTP
The support-server (10.35.22.20) provides an NTP server.
Email/SMTP
The support-server (10.35.22.20) provides SMTP and IMAP services.
All emails sent to the SMTP server are delivered to a single mailbox.
The Thunderbird mail client on jump-desktop is configured to connect to the IMAP server.
"Active Directory" Authentication
The support-server (10.35.22.20) provides SAMBA as a "fake" Active Directory Domain Controller.
SAMBA/Authentication is only accessible via the eth1 interface: 10.100.0.20

Factory Reset Commands
NIOS Appliance
There are three types of reset you can apply to a NIOS appliance.

Connect to the NIOS appliance using the console or SSH (if enabled)

Login using the username
adminand the current admin password
Reset database: this will clear the database only.

Type the command:
reset database
Reset all: this will clear the database, logs and remove any network settings from the appliance, licences will not be removed.

Type the command:
reset all
Reset all licenses: this will clear the database, logs, licenses and remove any network settings from the appliance. This is a full factory reset.

Type the command:
reset all licenses
NetMRI Appliance

Connect to the NetMRI appliance using the console

Login using the username
reset, no password is required -
You will be presented with a mini shell
-
Select the option to either factory reset, or reset database, whichever is required
